COOPERATION PROTOCOL BETWEEN ALKU AND ALANYA PUBLIC PROSECUTOR'S OFFICE

A cooperation protocol on probation services has been signed between the Ministry of Justice’s Alanya Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office and Alanya Alaaddin Keykubat University (ALKU).

ALKU has taken another step in its efforts to collaborate for the benefit of society. A cooperation protocol on probation services was signed between the Ministry of Justice’s Alanya Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office and ALKU. The protocol was signed by Alanya Chief Public Prosecutor Celal Tekin and ALKU Rector Prof. Dr. Kenan Ahmet Türkdoğan, with the participation of ALKU Secretary General Onur Ocakdan and Alanya Probation Director Yusuf Güven. With this protocol, structured efforts will be carried out in all rehabilitation-focused areas deemed appropriate by both parties to support the personal development of individuals under probation and former convicts, aiming to prevent recidivism and facilitate their reintegration into society. These initiatives will not only enable probationers and former convicts to benefit from rehabilitation programs but also include the preparation and implementation of complementary/supportive development programs for probation office personnel.

AIMING TO REINTEGRATE INDIVIDUALS INTO SOCIETY

Alanya Chief Public Prosecutor Celal Tekin expressed his hope that the protocol would be beneficial for both institutions. He emphasized that the Ministry of Justice collaborates with public institutions to rehabilitate and reintegrate individuals who have committed crimes into society. Highlighting the significance of this cooperation protocol with ALKU, Chief Prosecutor Tekin extended his best wishes and thanked everyone who contributed to the process.

Rector Türkdoğan emphasized that ALKU actively collaborates with public institutions and organizations, stating that this protocol reflects ALKU’s commitment to social responsibility. He pointed out that ALKU’s scientific expertise is accessible to all segments of society, adding, “It is always our priority to utilize our academic knowledge for the benefit of society. In this regard, I hope this protocol brings positive outcomes for everyone involved.”
