The Cooperation Agreement Between Alanya Alaaddin Keykubat University (ALKU) and the International Balkan University (IBU) in North Macedonia Begins to Bear Fruit

Alanya Alaaddin Keykubat University (ALKU) has been reaping the benefits of its collaborations with various international universities to ensure that students receive better education in their fields and prepare themselves more effectively for the future. Within the framework of the cooperation agreement signed with the International Balkan University in North Macedonia in November 2024, ALKU and IBU have jointly decided to organize a workshop in the fields of gastronomy and culinary arts. Supported by ALKU and coordinated by the International Balkan University’s Continuing Education Center, the workshop will be held abroad on February 17, 2025.

The workshop will be conducted under the theme of Ottoman-Turkish Cuisine and Handcrafted Food Production and will last for one week. Faculty members from ALKU’s Faculty of Tourism, Department of Gastronomy and Culinary Arts, will also take part as instructors in the training sessions. “WE ARE IN STRONG COOPERATION WITH OUR PARTNERS”

ALKU Rector Prof. Dr. Kenan Ahmet Türkdoğan emphasized that the university maintains constant contact with both domestic and international universities, stating, "Through our strong connections and dialogues, we are establishing strong relationships with numerous universities. Our primary goal is to provide the best education for our students and enable our academics to collaborate with scholars from different universities. As a result of the cooperation foundations we laid in the past, we will organize an educational program in the field of gastronomy and culinary arts with the International Balkan University for the first time this year. In this regard, ALKU’s global standing and reputation are increasing day by day. We can see this in the growing number of cooperation agreements we sign each year."
